Our concept
Where scents, colors, and soul find harmony
Anam Cara is a boutique hotel inspired by nature, wellness, design, and tranquility. Located in Cabarete, Dominican Republic, our hotel is an oasis of serenity surrounded by tropical nature, close to the beach and all main services.
"Anam Cara" comes from Irish Gaelic and means "soul friend." Our goal is to offer a space where guests can disconnect from daily stress and reconnect with themselves in an intimate, relaxing, elegant, and unique atmosphere.
Our commitment is that every guest feels cared for, valued, and accompanied throughout their stay. For us, true luxury is not limited to architecture or decoration, but to human quality and personalized attention.

Our story
The soul behind Anam Cara
Anam Cara was born from the conviction that travel should leave a mark on the soul, not just the memory. We were searching for a place where design, nature, and emotion could coexist effortlessly.
We found that place in Cabarete, between the Atlantic and the Dominican mountains. We built each lodge like a poem: with a name, a color, a scent, and a story of its own. The materials speak for themselves: natural wood, microcement, stone, and artisan elements surrounded by tropical vegetation.
The Gaelic concept of "Anam Cara" — soul friend — sums up what we want to be for every guest: a refuge that knows you before you know it, a space where you can be completely yourself.
